2.0-liter DOHC turbocharged engine, good for 268 horsepower and 258 pound feet
of torque, achieving up to 27 miles per gallon highway and 20 city. Two transmissions
are available on the 2016 WRX, including a fully-synchronized 6-speed automatic
transmission with Incline Start Assist, and a Sport Lineartronic transmission
with paddle shifters and 6- and 8-speed manual modes. Helping stop the WRX are
4-wheel dual-piston 12.4-inch front and single-piston 11.3-inch rear disc
brakes.
